You can’t help but be saddened and horrified at what is happening in Ukraine, and it obviously has a particular significance for us here at Mila because our supply partner Axor is based in the Eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro.
Our thoughts are very much with the whole team at Axor and all their loved ones as they face what is an unimaginable situation. I’ve visited them in Dnipro several times since we added their tilt and turn hardware to our range in 2018, and I’ve only ever been impressed by the whole business set up and by the warmth and welcome they’ve shown to every member of the Mila team.
We’re trying to stay in touch with them as much as possible, and we’ve obviously offered our unconditional support.
A number of customers have contacted us to ask, as sensitively as they can, about our stock position on the Axor tilt and turn hardware. At this stage, levels are good, and I don’t anticipate any difficulties in the short to medium term. However, if the supply from Axor is disrupted in the long term we have contingency plans in place to supply Siegenia tilt and turn hardware as an alternative and our sales teams have all been fully briefed to advise customers on the options. Please get in touch with them if you have any concerns.
In solidarity with all of the people of Ukraine, we are lighting up the Mila logo online in the blue and yellow colours of their national flag.
