Mila has launched a new Heritage door handle – with a contemporary twist. With no fewer than nine colours and finishes available, there is a handle in the range to suit even the most traditional or modern door.
Designed in-house by Mila’s own product development team, the new Heritage handle features a diamond shaped lever tip for a timeless aesthetic and a faux ‘clocked’ screw detail on the external backplate for a truly authentic look.
The Heritage black and Heritage pewter versions of the handle both have a ‘hammered’ textured effect making them perfect for traditional and cottage style properties. The pewter patina, antique bronze, polished, satin and matt painted versions are all smooth finishes designed to bring just a hint of classic styling to more modern homes.
As fabricators would expect from Mila, the new Heritage handle has been designed to be easy to stock and easy to fit. The 240mm backplate and universal lever are suitable for both left and right-handed doors and all the handles are supplied as standard with fixings for 44mm and 48mm composite doors and with the option of a 70m fixing pack for PVC doors.
The new door handle collection suites with Mila’s popular Heritage espag handles, peg stays and dummy butt hinges. And, with matching letter plates available as well, the emphasis is on maximising sales opportunities for customers.
Managing Director Richard Gyde explained: “We’ve responded to demand from our customers for a modern Heritage range which works across all window and door styles. By offering such a wide range of colours and finishes, the aim is to appeal to all those retail buyers who just want something quite classic as well as those who want to replicate something very traditional.”
Like all Mila branded products, the new Heritage range comes with the reassurance of quality in the form of a 10-year guarantee on mechanical operation, a 10-year guarantee on all the painted finishes and 5-year guarantee on the matt black and white plated finishes.
Mila is providing a package of sales and marketing support for customers buying the new Heritage handles, with downloadable brochures available via a dedicated new web page, links to digital animations and free product imagery.
