Mila’s Supa™ range of stainless-steel door hardware is helping Walsall-based Select Windows provide a raft of benefits to its trade, retail and commercial customers, at minimal additional cost.
Select, a long-time fabricator in Liniar, switched to Supa™ from Mila’s ProLinea door handle and letterplate last year and now supplies stainless steel hardware as standard on all its doors, complete with a 25-year guarantee on both mechanical operation and finish.
For Select’s customers, there are significant benefits in terms of being able to promote the long-term durability of the hardware, the fact that it is more sustainable than the zinc alternative, and the vastly reduced risk of remedials.
Mila’s Supa™ range is available in either SS304 extreme for mainstream use or SS316 marine grade material for coastal and high pollution areas. The entire range has been independently performance tested for corrosion resistance to BSEN1670 Grade 5 and has sailed through more than 1000 hours in a salt spray test.
