What else do we do?

At Mila, our products, our services, our team and the way in which we do business is important to us. We boast that we have got the best team in the industry, we are passionate about what we do and are always prepared to go that extra mile. Outside of Mila, our team give up their time for good causes, and have interests and commitments that make us a talented bunch of individuals.

GM Fundraising is Mila’s nominated charity but we also support the efforts of our staff in raising money for other worthwhile causes.

Take a look below at what some of the Mila team get involved in.

GM Fundraising

Mila has had a long association with GM Fundraising, the fenestration industry’s own charity, and we are proud to be able to continue supporting its efforts to raise money in particular for the Hope House children’s hospice near Oswestry.

Mila’s Managing Director Richard Gyde has taken part in two of the GM Fundraising sponsored epic cycle rides in recent years – first the Tower to Tower from the Eiffel Tower to Blackpool Tower in 2007 and then the much more ambitious Ride Across America in 2008.

He has already taken up the 2010 challenge which will be from ‘Rome to Home’ crossing the infamous Mont Ventoux which features in a stage of cycling’s Tour de France.   As training begins in earnest and during the ride itself, Richard will post updates here to keep supporters informed of his progress.

  • Rome2Home Cycle Challenge 11th - 19th June 2010 - Mila's MD, Richard Gyde, took part in this years GM Fundraising Cycling Challenge and cycled 1500 Miles from Rome to Oswestry.

He has raised £12,547 for Hope House Childrens Hospice. Thanks to everyone who sponsored him.
