So apparently the economy grew by 0.8% in the last quarter, with much of that growth driven by the construction sector.  At the same time, we're told the economy is braced to lose 500,000 public sector jobs and an unknown quantity of private sector jobs as a result of last week’s public spending review.

I had intended to attend the Glasstalk event last week, but changed my plans in order to attend the funeral of Chris Ashman of Quantum Windows, a fellow industry cyclist who was tragically killed whilst out cycling near his home in Northamptonshire. Our thoughts are with his family.
